The ENERGISE Centre – ENabling a Just Energy Transition through Renewable Energy, Governance and Innovative Sustainable Entrepreneurship – has launched its official website, marking an important step in establishing its digital presence and strengthening communication across the consortium.

The website introduces the Centre’s mission to advance a Just Energy Transition through interdisciplinary collaboration in renewable energy, governance, and innovative sustainable entrepreneurship. It provides an overview of the consortium, comprising the Technical University of Munich (TUM), the University of the Witwatersrand (WITS), the University of Johannesburg (UJ), Tshwane University of Technology (TUT), and the University of Venda (UNIVEN).

Visitors can find information on the Centre’s governance structure, education and exchange formats, doctoral programme and research activities, and the planned Living Labs in South Africa. The website will serve as a central platform for publishing updates on symposia, seminars, scholarship calls, and further project developments.

By creating a transparent and accessible online platform, the ENERGISE Centre reinforces its commitment to inclusive collaboration, open communication, and long-term institutional cooperation.

The website will be continuously expanded as the Centre’s activities progress.
