ENERGISE Consortium
The ENERGISE consortium brings together an excellent network of leading universities from Germany and South Africa, combining interdisciplinary and complementary capabilities in engineering, policy, and entrepreneurship. Anchored by the Technical University of Munich (TUM) as the coordinating institution, and joined by prominent South African partners, including research-intensive universities and universities of technology, the consortium unites deep academic expertise with strong local engagement. The partner universities in South Africa include: University of the Witwatersrand (Wits), University of Johannesburg (UJ), Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) and University of Venda (UNIVEN).
